This is the whole group with our guides
Showing off our medals we got for completing the course.
Before we had to board the ship we went and saw a Lumberjack show. It was really entertaining.

The Butchart Gardens

The Butchart Gardens was absolutely the most beautiful garden I have ever seen in my life. Pictures do not give it justice. This was our last of the off shore excursions and it was a great ending.

  • Deven and Julie Brienholt

All our rooms were right next to each other and there were doors that we opened to connect all our balconies. It was so fun to be able to go from room to room from our balconies. The day we left we took a picture of us from our balconies.
Our plane ride home. It was bitter sweet. We were excited to get home to our kids but a part of us wished we were still on the boat. What an amazing vacation we all had. Words couldn't even begin to describe how much fun Steven and I had with all the Kempton family. Thank you everyone for an unforgettable vacation.

Visiting the Williams in Show Low

One of my best friends/best hair dresser in the world, moved to Show Low. We hadn't seen their family for a while and so on our way to the valley we made the long route and went to visit them. My kids loved playing with their friends and I enjoyed hanging out with Ann. It was just like old times. Thanks for letting us come and invade your house all day long. We miss you guys.

Carnival in Flagstaff

A couple of weeks ago we went to a carnival here in Flagstaff. The kids had a blast if you can't tell. Their favorite were the bouncers of course. We had Katon doing front flips onto the slide. People around were so impressed with Katons skills. If they thought that was impressive they should see his mad skills on the trampoline. Mikelle of course found a friend and they went down the slide together every time. We were there all day.

What, I got tagged, you got to be kidding

Well I got tagged to many times to count so I hope y'all have fun learning a lot about me. I know most of you don't even read everything but I feel like to be a good blogging friend you gotta do it...

Okay first I have to list 7 random facts about me; funny, silly, whatever. Then pick 7 new people to tag

I am having a hard time thinking of things because my life is basically an open book so sorry if this is lame

-I am completely addicted to HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. I can pretty much refuse any other sweet, but if there are homemade chocolate chip cookies you better keep them away from me or I will seriously devour all of them.

-It takes me forever to put on my mascara. (the days when I actually wear makeup) I am obsessed with them being curled exactly the same and putting the same amount on each eye. Sometimes it can seriously take me 30 minutes.

-I am a total night owl. I could stay up all night if I really wanted to. It is really hard for me to go to bed before midnight. Whenever I try I end up just lying awake in bed forever. It doesn't matter how tired I am I just can't do it 99% of the time.

-I have to wash my face and brush my teeth every night. I know everyone does that but I am talking about the times when you fall asleep on accident without doing it. Yeah, I will wake up at like 3 in the morning and go and wash my face and brush my teeth. I try to tell myself to get over it, but I just can't.

-I have about 15 pair of pants in my drawers but yet I only wear about 3 pairs. It makes my husband so mad when I complain that I don't have anything to wear. I wear what is comfortable and save the rest for those "nights we go out." At least that is what I tell Steven.

-I love to bake/cook. I think it is just living here in cooler weather and always breathing in fresh air that puts me in a cooking mood. Before I moved here I disliked all types of cooking but now it is one of my pure joys.

-I have found a love of running. Never thought it would happen. I have always been an active person but running was never in the equation. Now I get depressed if I don't run every day.

I have no idea who to tag because I think almost everyone has already been tagged. So if I tag you and you have already done it or just don't want to do it, just ignore it. No hard feelings. I will still be your blogging friend.

I tag: Jamie Young, Chanteal Brooks, Kate Porter, Jenny Heyman, Tanya Kimball, Heather Haught, and Vanessa Ray. Have fun girls

More 4th of July footage

Here is Katon sliding down what is apparently the worlds largest inflatable slide. It is not all that interesting but it is pretty funny when he falls at the very very end of the video. The first fall is intentional (trying to get more sliding for the buck) the second is an unintentional fall.

4th of July

We went to Prescott for the 4th and joined in on their big 4th of July celebration. My kids had a blast. They had tons of water slides and crafts to do. My kids never stopped. We set up a little picnic spot and hung out eating watermelon and yummy cherries. Then we watched the amazing fireworks. We all enjoyed the firework show. My kids would comment after every firework saying did you see that, that was cool, oh my goodness, etc. It was fun watching fireworks in that kind of an atmosphere instead of a parking lot or the corner of an intersection. We had a good 4th of July and hope you all did too. It is wonderful to be reminded of the great country that we live in and for the freedoms that we have. I am so grateful for the men and women that have fought for that freedom and for those who are still fighting today. Thank you...

A beautiful day in Flagstaff

For the first time this summer it got pretty hot here. The high was 94 and since we don't have air conditioning you couldn't really cool down ever. I felt so bad because my family came to get out of the heat but yet they were probably hotter here than if they were at home. So luckily that hot weather only stayed for a day and all the other days were perfect. It rained one of the days and my mom and dad wanted to soak in every minute so we spent the whole day outside going for walks and playing games in the garage. It was an absolute perfect day.

Horse Races

My mom, dad, sister Jodi and her friend Mariana came and stayed with us this last week. We loved having them here. On Tuesday Flagstaff was having their annual horse races and so we decided to go. It was a blast. I never knew horse racing could be so entertaining. I can understand why people love to watch and bet on horses. It was tempting to go and bet. Especially because the number 7 jockey kept winning every race. Anyway, we all decided to have this be an annual Jarvis tradition to watch the horse races. My dad has already started to read up on how the race works and how it is run so next time we might be able to understand it a little better...

A Day with the Smith Family

We were so excited to have the Smith family come and visit us. We had a fun day with them going to the park and dinner and of course playing games. They are such a great family. Thanks for visiting guys!!!
