First Day of School!

Aren't they cute!
Katon is a big 3rd grader. Holy Cow! How did he get so old.
Mikelle is in 2nd grade and acts like a little teenager already.
Kayla started kindergarten this year. She was so excited and ready to start school. As for me not so much. It has been hard letting her go. Luckily it is only half day!

They all had a wonderful first day!

Goodbye Elder Jarvis

My brother JD left for his mission on August 12th. We are going to miss him so much. We are so happy for him and for the amazing time he will have teaching the gospel to the people of Louisville, Kentucky. He is going to be an amazing missionary. We love you JD! See ya in 2 years!
My kids will miss their uncle!
All of his nieces and nephews

Love ya Bro! Sure miss you!
All the in-laws

Weekend with my Family

We were so happy that my brother Josh and his family were able to come and visit the weekend before my brother JD left for his mission. Josh's family and my family stayed with my parents and so it was a blast to hang out all weekend into all hours of the night. We swam, played games, played guitar hero, and played the WII. The WII was quite hilarious. You should of seen us racing canoes. It was a lot of fun with a bitter sweet ending. Having to say goodbye to both my brothers. One going on a mission and the other going back to Texas.

8 months old...

Seriously, this adorable little boy can not be 8 months old already. He just keeps growing and growing. He got his first tooth and he is now scooting around everywhere. I love it when I get him out of bed in the morning and he gets all excited and rocks back and forth on his hands and knees. I love that he has a big hysterical laugh that in return makes you laugh until you have tears in your eyes. I love that when I hold him he puts his head on my shoulder and knows I'm mom. I love that he talks really loud in church (ok I don't really love that, but it is cute) Mostly I just love that he is apart of our family and that I have the privilege of being his mom!

Chase and his great grandpa Riggs. I love this picture!
Just give the boy bread!

Bubble Bath...

The kids enjoying mom and dad's new bath tub!

We Moved

We now get to enjoy the beauty of the White Mountains. Ever since we lived in Flagstaff I have been asking my husband to please get a job somewhere other than the valley. I fell in love with cooler weather, smaller towns, and the beautiful seasons. Although Steven loves the valley he granted me my wishes and took a job in Show Low! We moved on July 31st and I am loving my new little home. There are only a few more boxes to empty and then our home is up for ANY visitors ANY time!

JD's Farewell...

My brother is going to be such an awesome missionary. He gave one of the best farewell talks I have ever heard. If any of you know JD you know that he is a man of little words so to hear him bear his testimony and hear his feelings about how much he believes and loves this gospel strengthened my testimony a lot. I can't wait for him to bear that testimony to the people in Kentucky.
Proud sister!
Proud mom and dad!

Riggs Reunion

I was glad that I was able to take the kids and go to the Riggs reunion for just a day and visit with family that we never see. It was a lot of fun and I am planning on staying for more than a day next time!

I tell ya this kid wants to eat everything...

Spending time with DAD!

Steven took a job in Show Low, AZ. He started the end of June and we couldn't close on a house until July 31st. He had a cabin rental so the kids and I went and stayed with him for two weeks in July. We had a lot of fun venturing around what would soon be our new romping grounds. We played games and made treats at the cabin. The girls new thing is making up dances so we did a lot of that. We went and visited our good friends the Williams (so glad that they live in Show Low) Went to the library where they were having an animal demonstration thing. The kids loved seeing all the animals. Went to the public indoor pool where the kids swam and made ty dyed shirts. Went on hikes and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. Went to see dads new work place. Went on a picnic and went fishing. Enjoyed the thunderstorms and rain. We had a great time and it made us super excited to move!
Kayla thought the BIG snake was really neat.
How awesome is this turtle.

The scenery here is so pretty. I love GREEN!

They couldn't wait to wear their art masterpieces.
