Happy Birthday my big 5 year old!!!

Our little Mikelle (okay I know she is not so little anymore, but to me she will always be my little Mikelle) turned 5 on Wednesday June 27th. We were down in the valley for doctor appointments and such so we got to have a little birthday get together with some family and friends. Mikelle loved having people over for her birthday. It made her feel really special. Which she is. It has been exciting and also a little sad at times to watch her grow up right before my eyes. She has become the biggest helper. It is amazing to see your children develop into their own personality. She is a firecracker. She is outgoing and has a lot of self confidence. She is also a little comedian. She can hang with the boys but yet be really girly at the same time. I am so blessed to be her mother. She is very sweet to me most of the time and is always willing and excited to help me with anything. I love my Mikelle more than words could say. Thank you everyone that came and helped us celebrate her birthday.

Our friends Nate and Kate Porter came and stayed with us. We had a lot of fun and we were sad to see them go. We went and played at Lake Mary and went to the cinders. It was fun to just hang out with them since we don't get to see them often. Thanks for coming and staying with us.

My nephews Baptism

I can't believe my sweet Brady is baptized. My nephews and nieces are growing up so fast. The baptism was really nice. My sister did a good job planning it. I am so proud of my nephew and for his decision to get baptized. Love ya Brady...

Sleepover

My nephews Brady and Conner came and had a sleepover with us while we were down for Bradys baptism. It was so much fun. I loved spoiling them with pizza and ice cream and candy all night. (sorry Kristy) I love my nephews and I love what good friends they are with my kids. There is nothing like cousins.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

That's my hubby... It took me a while to find a picture where he was at least looking at the camera. I could write basically a novel on how wonderful my husband is and what a great father he is but instead I am just going to say that MY HUSBAND IS BY FAR THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD!!! At least his kids and I think so. My children are so lucky to have Steven as their dad. He is exactly the kind of father I always hoped my kids would have. He is a kid at heart and I love that about him. He can totally get down to their level and play with them for hours. I love the excitement my kids get when their dad comes home from school, or how much they miss their dad when they don't see him. (sometimes I wouldn't mind working just so that I could get the same attention) My husband is amazing and wonderful and all those things that I am sure you all think about your husbands. At least I hope you do. So Happy Fathers Day Babe!!! Your family sure loves you tons!!!

This is my brother Josh who is going to become a father in a few months. I know he is going to be an amazing father. You can tell by the way he loves and enjoys his nieces and nephews. I am so proud of my brother and for the person that he is and for the way he strives to do what is right. Josh I love you tons and I can't wait to meet my new little nephew!!!

This picture represents exactly the kind of father I have and the grandfather my children have. My dad loves his grandchildren. He always plays and wrestles with them. Even when he just had major heart surgery he still plays with his grandchildren as much as his body will allow it. He is the greatest father a girl could have. I treasure the friendship that I have with my dad. His advice and love and the lessons he taught me in my youth are so invaluable to me. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for sending me to the father that he did. I must have done something right in Heaven because I sure got rewarded. Dad I love you and I hope you had the best Fathers Day ever!!!

This is my wonderful Father in Law... I lucked out big time when another dad came into my life. I gave a lesson on Integrity today in Relief Society and it completely reminded me of dad Kempton. He is the perfect example of someone who has every quality that makes up Integrity. I am so grateful for his example and for the way he has accepted me as a daughter in law. He is the kindest most generous man you'll ever know. Happy Fathers Day dad Kempton!!!
