This last weekend my mom, grandma, sister Kristy and sister Jodi came to stay with us to make our annual gingerbread houses. It was such a blast and I was so happy that they would come and stay with us. They came on Friday and left on Sunday. On Friday night we went to dinner and then just hung out and played games all night. We went to bed around 2:30 am. It was a lot of fun. On Saturday we made our gingerbread houses. It has become a tradition. This is our 5th year doing it. It is something we all look forward to every year when the holidays start to come around. This year was especially fun to have them in my home and to have it actually be cold outside to feel like winter. They were all freezing. Anytime you opened the door everyone would yell, "who opened the door it's cold." We enjoyed drinking a lot of hot chocolate and eating so much good food and treats. You can't have a real Jarvis get together without having tons of yummy food... Needless to say we all had a very good time together and I am so thankful that they would be willing and want to come and stay with us. I hope they visit more often. We would love for anyone to come and stay. All of our gingerbread houses turned out so cute. We get better and better every year.

The final product

After 7 hours of gingerbread house making these are the final products. This is my gingerbread house
My mom's gingerbread house
My sister Kristy's gingerbread house
My grandma Sue's gingerbread house
My little sister Jodi's gingerbread house
Grandma brought them a stuffed snowman. They love the kid movie snowden, so that is what they named him. They now have fights over who gets to sleep with snowden at night. Thanks grandma...

The kids got to enjoy all the yummy food and decorate their own gingerbread houses from stickers. A present from grandma Jarvis.
