Our Cruise...

Steven and I went on an amazing Mexican Rivera cruise. It was seriously the best 7 days of my life. Just me and the hubby on a cruise ship taking 3 naps a day, eating more food then a human should consume, exploring Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas, meeting new people, enjoying the ships many amenities and activities and mostly enjoying each others uninterrupted company. It was pure heaven and a vacation that was truly enjoyed every second.
Our Cruise Ship...
enjoying our $2 sodas...
finding little hiding corners on the ship...
dancing the night away at the club...
enjoying the nice ocean breeze out on the pool deck...
participating in a scavenger hunt and dressing up a random guy...
wasting time waiting for the comedy show...

finding fun creations every day on our freshly made twice a day bed...

playing shuffle board where I won Steven...
getting our nightly midnight snack from the restaurant...
Our first formal dinner night
Proof that Steven took one bite of duck liver. I wouldn't dare try it.
Almost got Steven to eat a piece of shrimp...
Me on the other hand ordered 2 servings of it. YUM...
thoroughly enjoying his chocolate souffle
Our dinner table where we met new friends and had the pleasure of eating dinner with them every night.
Our first stop in Puerto Vallarta. We took a catamaran to an island to go snorkeling and kayaking. This is the crew that entertained us the whole time. They were great.
Our island destination

touring the amazing and beautiful island
getting ready to snorkel
After snorkeling and kayaking our boat captain spotted some dolphins and we had the amazing pleasure of watching them for quite some time. They were literally right next to the boat. They would swim and jump along side the boat. It was amazing to watch.

We stopped and were able to walk around and explore the island. It was beautiful.

Steven posing with the boat director. He was a really funny guy.

He couldn't miss out on his daily ritual naps.
eating some lunch
On our way back heading to shore we saw what seemed to be whales off in the distance. Our boat captain was great and took us closer to see. This is what we saw and watched in awe for about 30 minutes. It was a mom and her baby whale. The baby put on a great show. Constantly jumping out of the water, and splashing its tail like crazy. It was truly incredible to watch.

We could have watched this seal forever. It did the funniest things.
We spent 2 days in Puerto Vallarta. We were supposed to make a stop in Matzalan but because of on going crime the cruise cancled that stop. So for the second day we walked around downtwon to see what we could see and did a little shopping.

Eating delicious tacos. They were the real deal.

What and incredible sand creation...
A random guy covered in sand. It was crazy to see.

This is our day in Cabo.
We went quad riding on the beach.
Hands down the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Granted the only other beaches I have seen are California ones.
I could have sat and just watched the waves...

It was kinda surreal riding the quad on the beach. It felt like we were in a scene of a movie.

I learned something new about my husband. He seriously loves to climb on things and explore. He quickly however didn't explore much on these rocks once he discovered they were covered with crabs.
After our quad ride we rented a scooter and drove around town. This day has Steven written all over it.

Eating some REAL mexican food...

Oh the food... Seriously I get sick just thinking about how much food we ate. We told ourselves no holding back. We were going to simply enjoy every bit of delicious food we wanted. And we certainly did.

He took a picture of every single dish he had. It was hilarious.

Our second formal dinner...
New Friends...
The last night the dinner crew put on a show as they served us.

Our awesome waiter Gigi.

That concludes our 7 days of heaven. We truly had the most wonderful time. I can never spend enough time with my husband. I love him more and more every day.
The USS Midway was right next to the cruise ship pier so we went and took a look before heading home.
