First Day of School

The Big 8th Grader... Last year of Jr. High!

Do I dare say he is a Freshman... Holy Cow he is.  My boy is officially in High School!  OMGoodness!

Kayla is a 6th Grader...  Big girl on campus.  Last year of Elementary School.  I can hardly believe it.

1st grade for this boy... The real deal now.  All day school here he comes.  And of course he is most excited about eating lunch at school.

Some big milestones for us this year in school.  Katon goes to high school, Mikelle's last year in jr. high, Kayla's last year in elementary, and Chase goes all day to school.  They are all growing right up.  It is bitter sweet.  How I would love to keep them little but it is such a joy watching them grow and develop into these amazing human beings.  Hope this year is great for all of them!

 Cute Cousins!
Such a great 5 days with my kids surrounded by our great Riggs Family!

Family Fun

Last minute fun family day at a festival in Chandler.  We let the "older kids" roam around themselves together and Steven and I took the Little's on some rides.  They were loving it.  We watched some shows and indulged in one expensive treat to share and had a great time.  The older kids got wrist bands and had the time of their life going on all the rides over and over and over again.  Such a fun spontaneous day!

All good things must come to and end

Fourth of July Weekend day 3.  Going home :(  We had such a great weekend with at Roosevelt Lake.  So many memories made.  Until next year...

Fourth of July Weekend

Not the best way to start out day 2 of our Roosevelt trip.  An early morning wake boarding sesh ended early when a crash caused Katon's head to split open.  Nothing but some major stitches were going to help that.  Luckily we were blessed to have Uncle John on board who randomly had a Friend in Payson that had access to materials needed to fix him up and Uncle John had the stitching skills.  Katon left with John and everyone else went about having fun on the water.

Katon and John returned after about 4 hours with Katon all stitched up.  It took 11 stitches to stitch up.  And now he gets to hang out on the boat all day since he cant get his head wet.  Poor guy.  But at least he has a fun story to tell with a cool battle wound.

 Cliff Jumping

Starting out 4th of July evening eating some grub at the best Roosevelt has to offer.
John and Jessica decided to drive up to Payson to see fireworks but we stayed behind and did our own.  It was one of the best 4th of July's I have ever had,  Just my family sitting by the lake, lighting fireworks off a dock.  It was perfect.

My whole world all wrapped up in one picture!
