Chase's Birthday!

Awe, my little man turned 3 on December 5th.  He is the cutest little boy on this planet.  Words could not even describe his cuteness.  His personality is one of kind.  It would take hours of typing to share all the cute things he does.  He is our major helper boy.  All day long no matter what I am doing he says, I help you mom.  He can successfully empty the dishwasher better than his other siblings.  When he lifts things that are heavy he says, come on baby.  When he accomplishes something big or small he'll say, oh ya.  He is never on short supply of hugs and kisses and he never goes a morning without giving me a huge morning hug.  He loves to play outside and jump on the tramp.  Almost every morning Steven and I wake up to him saying scoot over dad.  He thinks he should have doughnuts every morning for breakfast, and his drink of choice is chocolate milk.  He likes to do things himself which usually means he goes places with his clothes on backwards and his shoes on the wrong feet because I don't have the heart to fix them when he is so proud of himself.  The other day when I told him to not put hair gel in his hair and when I discovered that he obviously didn't listen I asked him, Chase did you put hair gel in your hair.  His response in this order was, no-yes-maybe.  Needless to say his disobedience was out shadowed by his cuteness.  I am telling you I could go on for hours about this boy.  He brightens my day and is such a joy to have in our family.  Happy Birthday our Chaser Bugs!  We Love You SO MUCH!!!
He had a low key birthday spent with his family.
Breakfast choice was none other than his favorite; doughnuts

Birthday lunch with dad at Wendy's
Birthday dinner at Peter Piper Pizza another favorite

Opening presents at home.  He loved the opening process.  I could have wrapped oranges and he wouldn't of cared as long as he could just open them.

His favorite gift.  His own little scooter.
Grandma and Grandpa Jarvis and Uncle JD and Aunt Jodi came over just in time for cake and candles.  Chase's favorite color is orange.  He wants everything orange.

The Stache...

Thanks Uncle JD for helping me become a little man!

Gingerbread House Weekend!!!

The weekend I look forward to every year when holidays roll around.  9 years and running when my mom, grandma and sisters get together to not only make amazing gingerbread houses, but make some of the best and most hilarious memories.  My sister Jodi made the most delicious dinner and the table decor was perfectly holiday perfection.  We had great dinner conversation then played a bunch of fun games.  My mom or grandma always manage to create inside jokes that last all year long.  We pretty much spent the night laughing hysterically.  After going to bed around 2am we woke up to start our day of creativity and make our gingerbread houses.  What a great day of food, conversation, imagination, laughs, and memories.  Until next year...

This little man got to be a part of the fun this year although he was not that fun himself.  Let's just day he didn't really cooperate much and got passed around a lot trying to keep him happy.  But we all still loved him to pieces.

Santa Claus even made a visit.  We must be special...

 Working hard...

Aunt Kristy has the magic touch.  She was the one to finally get him to sleep.  She is all prepped and ready for her little baby coming in July!
They always turn out so cute!
