We had so much fun at the Riggs reunion! I got to see all my cousins that I love so much and don't get to see very often. We played frisbee golf, went on hikes, played cards and games, ate treats galore, talked and laughed and reminisced about old times. We missed my grandpa and grandma Riggs that weren't able to make it. My grandma is the funniest and funnest grandma there is. There was a definite difference not having them there. Such great memories were made and I look forward to next year!
Me and my mom

Cute cousins!
Chase loved following anyone who was playing frisbee golf with a frisbee in tow
We went to California for a week on a much needed and anticipated family vacation. I LOVE family vacations. I love to push everything aside and enjoy time with my little family. We love doing the beach thing (who doesn't) and although I tried to think of somewhere else to go, do something different since we always do the beach, nothing else sounded as fun. So off to California we went. I love being at the beach when we are there but I am a big complainer about having to load up an ice chest, pack everything in the car, drive all the way there, having to stay there all day long because your hotel is however far away, doing the whole rinsing and changing before leaving but still managing to get tons of sand in the car. I know it's all worth it because we have done many times but I still dislike a lot of things that come with it. Well I guess my husband got real tired of my complaints because he got us a hotel room smack dab on the beach. Literally steps away. This was our view from our room. It was the most perfect beach vacation EVER! We could go and come as we pleased, put Chase down for naps, make lunch in our room then take it down to the beach, my most favorite part was making dinner in our room while the kids played out on the grass and watching the sun go down with the wonderful ocean breeze. Those moments I will treasure forever. We had such a great time together. I feel so lucky that we are able to make these family memories. They are truly irreplaceable.
We took a break from the beach and went to Legoland. It was really fun especially for the kids. It was nice that all our kids, besides Chase of course, could ride all the rides.
Waiting in line to go on a roller coaster
How high are we going...
They had the coolest things made out of nothing but Lego's
Kids had a blast at the new water park they just opened up in June
Their first driving lesson
Katon has a little more learning to do about driving on the right side of the road...
They passed their driving test! Watch Out!!
One of these days we will take a picture where we are both smiling normally!
I don't think we can do it!
What! We got one!
Chase was such a trooper sitting in his stroller most of the day
Mikelle and I going for a ride...
Your age depended on what level you could go on for this ride. Mikelle was only able to go on level 1 and she was a little disappointed in the outcome. She said it was to slow and she was not a happy camper when she got off!
Katon on the other hand got to step it up and go on level 3 and man o man it took us for a ride!
Having a little to much fun with the Lego police man!
Having breakfast of champions as we prepared to drive home from our amazing and absolute funnest family vacation!
