Jodi's Graduation

My Lil' Sista is now a High School Graduate. CRAZY! She is the last member of my family to graduate from Mesa High. Good Riddens! Just kidding. I love my sister and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for her.

As most of you know graduations are way too long and boring so we kept ourselves occupied by taking crazy pictures of ourselves. We kept ourselves entertained and probably all the people around us.

Sisters are the BEST!!!

Congratulations Jodi! I know you are going to do great things! Love you:)

Last Day of School...

Katon

Oh, my sweet Katon Boy is now a big 4th grader. How is this possible. This school year has been so great for him. Mrs. Day has been such a wonderful teacher. She has gone above and beyond and I couldn't be more grateful. Katon is a wonderful student who definitely gets the award for doing his best. Katon received an award for the most creative writer which I can say he does come up with some great stories. We are so proud of Katon and for all his hard work.

Katon gave this to his teacher and I thought the idea was so neat. (Not my idea by the way)

Mikelle

Mikelle has had a wonderful year in 2nd grade. She loves school and loves to learn. Mikelle loves her teacher Mrs. Frost. She has been so great and has encouraged Mikelle to excel in school. Mikelle received some awards which we were so proud of her. Some of them were getting straight A's all year, having the highest percent in her class for spelling and being one of three students to reach the accelerated readers goal. We are VERY proud of you Mikelle!

Kayla Graduates Kindergarten!

If only you could see the tears... Kayla has grown up so much this past year. She is way ready for 1st grade but I am not. I am going to miss picking her up from the bus stop, making her nachos or a salad for lunch, playing McDonald's in the play room, running errands with her where she always talked me into buying her something (it is so easy when you just have one kid with you) playing Disney scene it where she would beat me most of the time fair and square, laying on the couch with her watching a movie, but mostly just having her around. She a smart and very independent and I know she'll do great next year. Congratulations Kayla! Sure love you Kayla Baby!
Kayla getting introduced. They had a western theme and it was so cute.
Coming down the pathway to 1st grade on her horse.

They had a program where they sang songs with actions. Of course it was adorable!

My BIG first grader...

Kayla with her wonderful teacher Mrs. Marchant. I can not say enough about Kayla's teacher. She was the best kindergarten teacher we have ever had. We just love her!

Silly Kid...

This is what we see Chase wearing 24/7 and at nighttime Chase kindly shares the other one with his dad.

Dad's new Ride...

I tried my best to keep this away but I can't keep my husband from doing something that he loves forever. It did come with some ground rules which my husband agreed to because he loves me and wants to stay in one piece until we are old and gray. I have to admit that I am excited go out on dates with it though. What can you do!

T-Ball...

T-ball what more can you say. It is more for parent entertainment then the kids. Kayla has enjoyed kicking dirt around with her feet, sitting in the dirt while in the outfield, and her most favorite thing of all, finding lady bugs and sticking them into her pocket. So all in all Kayla had a fun time playing t-ball this year. Seriously though we did enjoy watching her.

Softball...

This is Mikelle's first year of "real softball" and as Steven would tell you she has her mama's genes. She loves to play which makes me very happy. This is the first thing she has done that not once did she ever complain about going to practices or games which is huge if you know Mikelle. When we were on our way to her last game she told me that she was going to hit a home run. I told her of course you are not ever thinking it would actually happen. Well it did. So her actual hit was really a double but she was determined to make it home and luckily for overthrows combined with her speed she made it to home plate. It was jump out of your seat and scream moment. Mikelle is a great little ball player and we love watching her!

Baseball...

Katon has been doing awesome in baseball this year. He loves being the second baseman for his team. I love watching him play. Although sometimes I miss the old days when everyone got to bat and there were no outs because when your son is up to bat with 2 outs and bases loaded you feel like you are sitting on pins and needles. Luckily any time that has happened Katon has pulled through.
